A new comment was posted on CNN David Agaybi To clear this up...the aid money is used to buy american arms and food like wheat and barley and fruits. Its the same as infrastructure spending. The government uses taxpayer dollars to build bridges, roads, schools etc. The aid money is meant to ensure regional stability. Regional stability in the middle east is vital to the survival of the species. Instability would lead other players like China and Russia to walk all over the US in the middle east.
